NCAA 2015 regional
This was a great site for a regional. Indianapolis set up the venue so that only 1/3rd to 1/2 of the stadium was used. Comparing it to Houston 2026 regional - Bad - football domes, both very large, both nice cities. Good - The seating was much better, the baseline seats were not starting 30' behind the basket. They had room to move these seats forward at least 30' and they chose not to which, in my opinion, was good. Indianapolis did not have any TVs throughout the stadium that had the other games on them. Stick to football and don't give them any more NCAA tournaments to host. This is a national tournament and you can't have any of the other games broadcast at your site? This was a complete disappointment in Houston! There were no TV's throughout the stadium that had the other games on them? This was just plain stupid and another complete disappointment! This was a terrible site for a regional. We'd never go to Houston again for a regional if this is the way the Texans run the tournament. Make it closer to the action for all the fans. Put the court on one of the ends of the stadium and the baseline seats should start right after the bands. Suggestions for Regional - At one point during Friday's games, we couldn't even get a score posted for the other regional site's games. Why didn't they learn anything from when they hosted the final four in the past? Now, I understand why they call Texas a football state! I feel bad for the people that don't know any better and go to purchase seats for next year's final four.
